Two Simple Ways to Make Boat at Home

Hello friends, welcome to hackerom.com. Today we will learn two very simple ways to make a boat at home. Both boats are very easy to make. Materials for making these boats are also very cheap and easily available. We will learn to make the first boat using dual shaft motor and second the Fastest rubber band powered boat.




How to Make a Simple Electric Boat:



Materials Required :


  • A piece of styrofoam
  • A dual shaft gear motor 
  • 9volt battery
  • Switch
  • Two small connector
  • A hard straw
  • Two popsicle sticks
  • Rubber bands
 

Making Process :

 
  • Cut styrofoam as boat shape (20cm long and 8cm wide).
  • Screw two small connectors in both shafts of the motor.
  • Cut two pieces of straw of the same size.
  • Screw these straw pieces in the connectors.
  • Put this system in the middle of the boat-shaped piece of foam.
  • Bind the motor with five or six rubber bands.
  • Connect the motor’s wire in the battery with the switch.
  • Put the battery and switch behind the motor and bind with rubber bands.
  • Take two popsicle sticks and bind it in the middle of straws.
  • The boat is ready for use.
Put this boat in the pond or any water body and switch it on. The boat will start floating smoothly. You can use the RC board to operate from distance by remote. This boat float in the circle which looks so beautiful.
 
 
 

Fastest rubber band powered boat :

 
This boat is very simple to make just like a paper boat. Anyone can make this boat without a motor. Materials of this boat are also easily available. All materials are household. Let’s start making.
 
 

Materials Required :

 
  • A coca-cola plastic bottle.
  • Two wooden pieces.
  • Rubber bands.
  • Popsicle stick.
  • Glue gun.
 
Making Process :
 
  • Take a coca-cola plastic bottle or you can use any plastic bottle with a cap.
  • Glue both wooden pieces as shown in the picture.
  • Bind rubber bands as shown in the picture.
  • Glue the popsicle stick on the rubber band at last part of the bottle.
  • The boat is now ready to float.
 
Wrap the popsicle stick many times and hold it and put it in the water and leave the popsicle stick. The boat will start floating.
